Different Subnets for host and guests needed?

Hi forum,

just setting up first Hyper-V system. Will be small box with two guests, one DC and one Exchange, for about 10 people. No cluster, all disks are with the box. There are two NICs that I plan to team and to connect to vswitch. Host and guests of course will be connected to that vswitch then.

I read a lot about subnetting, Vlan etc., but am unsure: Is there any need for a separation of host and guests? What I plan to do is to give DC 192.168.10.1, Exc .2 and host .3. Is that ok from your point of view?
